26-Year-Old Suspect in Fatal Kingsbridge Shooting
Just before 11 a.m.,
Hasan Richburg was shot numerous times in the body, resulting in his death. This happened in front of
131 West Kingsbridge Road. The attacker quickly left the area, leaving Richburg critically injured.
When police arrived, they found Richburg outside the Caridad Restaurant, where he had passed away from his wounds. The seconds before the shooting were caught on camera, and the man wearing the red sweatshirt is thought to be the shooter.
This person may be seen in the video tumbling to the ground, which could indicate that there was a struggle or confrontation before the gunshot.
Community Seeks Answers and Justice After Fatal Kingsbridge Shooting
Probably, the suspect ran away from the scene, escaping capture, by heading along Kingsbridge Road toward Sedgwick Avenue. Authorities and the community are left confused and in search of answers as a clear cause for the shooting remains elusive despite continuing investigations.
