Shocking Robbery on Green Line Train in Downtown St. Paul – Gunfire Erupts as Passenger Falls Victim

It was a terrifying Saturday night in downtown St. Paul for a 27-year-old guy on the Green Line light-rail train. According to St. Paul Police spokesperson Sgt. Mike Ernster, there was a robbery on Green Line train, the adolescent passenger was robbed and shot in the stomach near 12th and Robert streets around 7:30 p.m.

Robbery on Green Line Train Shock: Suspect on the Loose as St. Paul Police Launch Intensive Manhunt

The assailant departed, leaving the wounded man behind. Metro Transit and St. Paul officers worked together with K-9 units and the Minnesota State Patrol helicopter to apprehend the offender of the robbery on the Green Line train.

The suspect of the robbery on Green Line train eluded capture as of Saturday evening, escalating the probe.

Medical personnel from the St. Paul Fire Department treated the victim, who survived. Though the wounds were critical, the man’s life was not in danger at Regions Hospital.
