Reginald Hall, convicted of raping and stabbing a woman on a popular bosque trail in Albuquerque, has been sentenced to 49 years in prison following a last-minute plea deal. The judge, as part of the agreement, suspended 19 years on the condition that Hall completes five years of probation upon release.

I hope that someday you will be guided to make different choices in your life so that you can find peace. Peace that will guide you, because you do have more of a life to live. And I hope that you can find that peace that will take you to better places.”
