Attempted Hit by Drunk Driver in Milwaukie
On Sunday morning KPTV reported, a pickup truck hit by drunk driver in Milwaukie. The driver, Kristin D. Russell, is now facing charges of DUI and attack. The Milwaukie Police Department says it took place near Southeast Monroe Street and Southeast Wood Avenue at 9:30 a.m. The 67-year-old woman was hurt, but she was awake when they found her. The driver stayed, but the woman is in bad shape and in the hospital.

Residents worry about walking and dangerous roads.
The people who live there are worried about how safe it is for people to walk around. Some people say drivers aren’t paying attention and there aren’t any good walkways. Ms. Campbell says the roads are bad and that the only safe place to walk is in the middle of the water. She wants the city to spend money on steps to make the roads safer. Her dog got scared of the truck and ran away, but it was later found at her house.

Suspect attempted hit by drunk is in jail
It was Kristin D. Russell who was driving the truck they are facing charges of DUII, second-degree abuse, and hitting someone with a car. People in the area say we need to make things safer. Making things safer, like adding paths, is what they want so this doesn’t happen again.
