Community Organization Offers Generous Reward for Help Capturing Tac Bell Robber

In a recent press release, the non-profit organization Mothers Against Murder has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Palo Alto Taco Bell armed robbery suspect. After the event on December 20, staff and local authorities sought clues to find the offender.

An armed man demanded money from a lone employee closing the store the night of the holdup. The employee escaped unharmed despite cooperating. The masked suspect escaped in a dark automobile, and police have no idea who they are.

The suspect is described as a male in his late teens or early twenties, either white or Hispanic, who was masked with a ski mask and spoke English. Palo Alto Police have been actively engaged in the case since the incident but without significant breakthroughs. This has prompted Mothers Against Murder to step in, hoping that their substantial reward will encourage potential informants to come forward.

The organization’s need for help underlines the continued threat to service industry workers. The lack of security footage for identification highlights the necessity for public support. Palo Alto Police’s 24-hour dispatch center (650) 329-2413 accepts anonymous email and text reports.

Mothers Against Murder hopes this large reward will highlight the importance of community collaboration in bringing offenders to justice and support law enforcement’s persistent efforts to keep Palo Alto secure.
