According to Newsweek, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, a member of a left-wing party in Slovakia, has criticized NATO Country leaders in the newly published newspaper in Slovak that states the Western leaders’ failed strategy against Russia’s aggression towards Ukraine.
Moreover, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico also stated the rejection of the black-and-white vision of the war that is desired in Washington or Brussels and blamed Moscow’s aggression on the US’ influence on Kyiv’s government.

The same article stated that Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico has promised to end his country’s military support for Ukraine, following his critical remarks against Western leaders’ extensive sanctions on Russia.
Moreover, despite the unwavering support of Bratislava for Kyiv since the start of the war against Russia, Slovakia’s government rejected the $43 million aid package to Ukraine in November under Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, which potentially signaled a shift in the country.
