Selected and eligible Americans will receive new payment to combat the negative financial effects of the rising inflation rate. In Michigan, 100 residents will receive an amount of $528 a month for two years under the Guaranteed Income to Grow Ann Arbor program.
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, this aims to help entrepreneurs, small business owners, and other self-employed individuals make ends meet and financially bolster their companies. This program is funded by $1.6 million from the federal American Rescue Plan.

Official Released A Statement
According to a published article on the official website of Guaranteed Income to Grow Ann Arbor, city councilmember Linh Song said, “This seemed like a good opportunity to launch a pilot, given that there are all these other federal monies that were trying to help short-term, like the eviction moratorium, additional SNAP benefits, child care, child tax credits,”
Furthermore, applicants in Michigan must have an income at or below 225% of the federal poverty line. Those residing in homeless shelters in Ann Arbor were also eligible to apply.
