Wang Wenbin Addresses Suppression of Chinese Students
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Wang Wenbin made these statements during a routine news conference in response to allegations that the U.S. had questioned and checked many Chinese students’ electronic devices entering the country. Some students had their visas revoked, barring them from the U.S. for five years.

He condemned the U.S.’s monthly forced repatriation of hundreds of Chinese people, including students, as discriminatory, selective, and politically motivated law enforcement.
In June 2020, the Trump administration issued Proclamation 10043, which caused conflict, the spokeswoman said.
