Requirements for enrollment in the Uplift Harris Initiative
To be eligible for the program, a person has to fulfill two requirements. Originally, they had to reside in one of 10 zip codes that were identified as having a high rate of poverty. 77547, 77091, 77050, 77093, 77051, 77060, 77028, 77033, 77026, 77081, and 77547 are the numbers. Additionally, the household’s income must be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line, or $60,000 for a family of four.
The project’s objective is to provide much-needed financial assistance to families in areas with struggling economies. This will assist them in resolving their problems and improve their general health.
