Judge Delays Cases for Teens in Beating.

In court on Wednesday, two lawyers spoke up for their clients linked to the sad incident at Rancho High School. One lawyer said his client didn’t get court stuff and asked for a mental health check. The judge, Amy Mastin, said okay. Another lawyer wanted his client out of jail with an electronic watch. But the judge said no, thinking the teen might be a risk to the community.

Rancho High Case: Legal Moves for Teens in Trouble

Four out of nine people arrested for hurting 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis had their cases moved to adult court. They’re 16 or older and charged with murder. The others, younger than 16, will have a court talk to decide if they get treated like adults. The court stuff keeps going, and people in the area want fairness for what happened at Rancho High School.

Another Teen Faces Judge in Rancho High School Tragedy

This week, one more young person tied to the Rancho High School problem will talk to a judge. It’s part of the steps in the court process after the sad event where Jonathan Lewis got hurt. People around there hope for the right decisions to be made in court and for things to be fair for everyone involved.
