The host of the Today Show, Al Roker, has talked about how he stays healthy, focusing on eating clean, organic food. For more than twenty years, he has been going to a farmers market in Hudson, New York, every week to buy veggies, flowers, and fresh fish. Roker likes the social side of the farmers market and stresses the link with growers and makers that makes the experience whole.

Roker and his wife Deborah Roberts like to cook their meals up to five nights a week. They like to use fish, chicken, olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs to make their meals taste better. He stresses how important it is to watch your portions and thinks that eating a range of things in moderation is a good thing.

The TV celebrity lost a lot of weight in 2002 by having gastric bypass surgery and losing 100 pounds. He still makes living a healthy life a priority.
