China and US Exchange Cooperation of Militaries
According to the China Military, the Chinese side has put forward a prerequisite for exchange and cooperation between the two militaries, which emphasizes the basis of equality and mutual respect between China and US.
However, the US side understood China’s statement and comprehended what they meant by equality and respect, this means avoiding miscalculation and establishing a guardrail. US also thinks that China’s remark meant to compromise and acceptance of one side’s hegemony.
