The US-Canada military monitoring agency has continued its Christmas tradition for the 68th year of tracking Santa’s whereabouts. This tradition has been helping children around the globe find Santa and its reindeer-powered sleigh coming to town.

3D Showed Santa Claus and His Reindeer in US-Canada Military Tradition
According to Malay Mail, as a part of the joint US-Canada military tradition, an interactive website at www.noradsanta.org showed a 3D Santa Claus and his reindeer on their imagined worldwide route to deliver gifts to children, allowing the users to learn more about the cities.
The 3D of Santa and his reindeer was presented by the North American Aerospace Defense Command that dates from 1955 till this year.
US-Canada Military Tradition Started Due to a Publishing Mistake
Inquirer reports that this US-Canada Military tradition started when a newspaper advertisement printed a phone number to connect the children to Santa but mistakenly directed them to the hotline for military service.
The US-Canada military did not want to disappoint the children. Thus, the NORAD’s director of operations during that time, Colonel Harry Shoup, ordered his troops to check the radar to see where Old Saint Nick might be and update the children on his location.
