Joshua Medina Struck A Joliet Police Chief on Face During Arrest
According to WGNTV, A man named Joshua Medina struck a Joliet police chief in the face Wednesday night (Oct. 25) during an arrest after the officers responded to the 100 block of North Chicago Street for a disturbance.
According to the report, Joshua Medina, who was allegedly causing the disturbance was going through a garbage can on private property. The officials then discovered that Joshua Medina had already been warned by the staff of Cut 158, which was located next door, to leave the premises.

Joshua Medina Reportedly Isn’t Mentally Sound
According to Patch, during Joshua Medina’s first court appearance in front of Will County Judge Donald Dewilkins, the defendant was allegedly constantly mumbling, talking over the judge’s instructions, and muttering something about a guitar.
Currently, it remains a guess when Joshua Medina will ever stand trial in connection with the 10 criminal charges filed against the 39-year-old homeless man.
Judge Carlson has set Jan.9 for an update on Joshua Medina’s status for his psychiatric treatment. For now, Joshua Medina’s 10 felony charges are on hold.
