The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reacted to an armed robbery at Community Bank on Friday, according to Gary M. Segrue, St. Bonaventure University’s associate dean for campus safety.
According to the Police Report
A suspect fired a round from a gun in the incident before escaping the area. Segrue provided the campus community with information about the suspect, identifying him as a black man who weighed 145 pounds and measured 5 feet 10 inches. According to reports, the person wore black or gray sweatpants, red sneakers, and a black sweatshirt.
In an update, Segrue noted that a vehicle linked to the robbery has been recovered. The authorities are actively investigating the incident to apprehend the suspect and gather more information about the circumstances surrounding the armed robbery.
