A California man has been arrested for stealing fire hydrants in Pomona City.
California Man Arrested in Connection with Theft in Pomona
According to CBS, a California man has been arrested in connection with stealing multiple fire hydrants from Chino Hills, Pomona in December.
Ian Cube, a 46-year-old California man was taken into custody on Monday after investigations revealed his involvement by reviewing the video surveillance from areas where the fire hydrants were stolen.
During the investigations of both the Chino Hills Police Department and San Bernardino County Sheriff, the California man was identified due to his white Toyota Tacoma as a vehicle of interest. The detectives located the car in Chino Hills on Monday and the California man was briefly detained after the police performed a traffic stop.

Deputies Detained a California Man and Retrieves Fire Hydrants
According to KTLA, the California man was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga to await his charges of grand theft. Moreover, the deputies also retrieved the fire hydrants in the back of the truck on which he was riding.
Furthermore, detectives are investigating a similar incident in which fire hydrants were stolen from a shopping center in Chino Hills in October. The California man is also being suspected to be involved in similar thefts throughout Southern California.
