_Seattle’s Weather Is About to Mess With Your Wardrobe—Here’s What’s Coming!

it’s one of those weeks. You know the kind: some sun, some rain, a little chill, and a random warm day thrown in just to mess with your closet. Get ready to experience all the moods of Pacific Northwest spring packed into seven days.

Let’s break it down—day by day—so you don’t end up soggy or sweating through your layers.

Tuesday – The “Yep, That’s Seattle” Starter

Clouds? Check. Drizzle? Check. Cool breeze? Absolutely. Tuesday’s keeping things classic with a high around 55°F and light rain that shows up just when you’re trying to walk the dog. It’s not pouring, but you’ll want that trusty rain jacket. At night, it dips to about 43°F, so maybe keep that fuzzy blanket nearby too.

Wednesday – Spring’s Flirty Side Appears

Just when you think it’s going to be all gray forever, Wednesday steps in with some sunshine. We’re looking at a high near 60°F, which in Seattle terms means everyone is suddenly outside. Great day for a walk through Gas Works or to finally open your windows without freezing. Evening’s chillier at 47°F, but totally tolerable.

Thursday – Warm but Wet? Yep.

Thursday’s the wild card. It starts off cloudy, then that sneaky Seattle rain slips in by the afternoon. But surprise—it’s also warmer! Highs reach 63°F, which feels downright luxurious for April here. So yeah, you’ll be damp and slightly overdressed. Evening temps hover around 45°F.

Friday – Crisp, Clear-ish, and a Bit Cold

The sun might peek through a few times, but it’ll be on the cooler side with highs topping out at 54°F. Definitely one of those light-scarf days. Once the sun’s gone, it’s gonna get brisk—40°F overnight. Maybe skip the patio dining unless there’s a heater.

Saturday – Cloudy, Drizzly, and Kinda Cozy

Not the best day for outdoor plans. We’re back to gray skies and occasional showers, with a high of 53°F. Think “slow start, lots of coffee, no guilt about staying in.” Evening low? Around 42°F. So if you were thinking bonfire night—maybe next weekend.

Sunday – A Little Sun to Save the Weekend

Sunday’s showing signs of redemption. Expect a mix of clouds and sun with a nice mild high near 60°F. It’s one of those “get outside while you can” kind of days. Good for a stroll at Green Lake or hitting up your favorite brunch spot. Temps drop to about 44°F after dark.

Monday – Wait, Is This Spring or Summer?

Boom—Monday brings the heat (sort of). High of 66°F, mostly cloudy skies, and you might finally leave the house without a coat. It’s the kind of day where people start saying “it’s so nice out” 30 times before lunch. Evening stays mild around 48°F, which feels weirdly warm after this week.

TL;DR (But Make It Helpful)

  • Rainiest Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

  • Best for Sunshine: Wednesday, Sunday, Monday

  • Random Warm Surprise: Monday (seriously, enjoy it)

  • Still Cold at Night: Yep—especially Friday
