In a disturbed game of events, 53-year-old Yolanda Oleanjakjak Marodi has been arrested in Mexicali, Mexico on suspicion of killing his wife, Cal Fire Captain Rebecca “Becky” Marodi. The arrest is more than two decades of Yolanda’s former guilty of stabbing the deadly stabbing of her then-husband, James Joseph Oleanjak in 2000.

After the 33-day Manhintet, Mexican officials captured Yolanda on March 22, 2025, at a hotel in Mexico. He was later handed over to the US Marshals on the border and was remanded in custody in San Diego on suspicion of murder.
