A tragic hit-and-run event happened on Saturday morning in the Liberty City area of Miami, resulting in a death and four injuries. The accident happened at the intersection of Northwest 54th Street and 17th Avenue around 21:05.
Surveillance absorption from a nearby gas station caught the annoying sequence of events. A Black Mercedes-Benz sedan and a white pickup were seen close together. Mercedes suddenly wandered on the sidewalk and hit a bus stop where many pedestrians waited before he overturned.
The first respondent of Miami Fire Rescue immediately came to a chaotic scene. One person was thrown out of the vehicle, while the other was stuck inside and needed extraction using a hydraulic tool. A total of five people were taken to the Rider Trauma Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, one of the victims died because of his injuries. Another is in a very serious condition, and the other three are reported to be in a stable position.
The witnesses remembered the terrible moments after the accident. Nearby, Dibane Ramandiagal saw the car turn and people were killed at the bus stop. He expressed shock and fear he saw later.
Officials classified the incident as a hit-end run when the driver of the white pickup involved in it was not left at the scene. Traffic-hired detectives are actively examined and require the driver’s identification and detection. They encourage everyone to come forward to help in their efforts with information.
Society is released after this tragic event. A small monument is installed near the broken bus stop to honor the deceased victim. Residents are calling for an increase in traffic safety measures in the area to prevent such incidents in the future.
