Urgent Tornado Watch: Severe Storms Set to Slam Jackson and Hattiesburg Tonight

A powerful storm system is moving towards Mississippi, motivating the National Weather Service (NWS) to publish a Tornado watch for some parts of the state, including larger cities such as Jackson and Hetisburg, which is effective up to 3:00 am CDT on Saturday.
