The truck critics have spoken. The 2025 Ram 1500 has earned the title of being the most comfortable full-size truck. According to U.S.News, the large Ram truck stands out for having high interior quality, smooth ride, comfortable seats, and a quiet interior.
Other comfort enhancements include heated and ventilated front seats, available massaging front seats, reclining rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and premium leather upholstery.
However, in 2024, the Ram truck only sold 439,037 units in America. Meanwhile, the Ford F-150 sold 834,641 trucks in 2024. Then the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 rings in with 560,265 sales. It’s falling behind other American brands.
Critics suggest that the Ram 1500 isn’t keeping up because it isn’t as capable as its full-size truck rivals. It can tow up to 12,750 lbs while the F-150 can tow up to 13,500 lbs. This deficit isn’t huge, though.
While the 2024 F-150 has an MSRP of $37,056, the 2024 Ram truck has an MSRP of $39,420. So it is slightly more expensive.
It may not have enough variety for some full-size truck drivers. The Ram 1500 only has three engine options and offers fewer configurations than the F-150 and Silverado. The F-150 has seven powertrain options available, including an electric variant.
