Massachusetts State Police release name of Rhode Island man killed in Bristol County highway collision – Fall River Reporter


Massachusetts State Police have released the name of a man killed in a Bristol County highway crash this week.

According to Sergeant Gregory Jones of Massachusetts State Police Media Relations, at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, Troopers from the Foxboro Barracks responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 North in the city of Mansfield, near the 12.2 mile marker.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a sedan drove into the rear end of a box truck.

An occupant of the sedan was killed in the crash.

Tim McGuirk of Massachusetts State Police Media Relations stated that the decedent is identified as Adeyinka Awodumila, 73, or North Providence, Rhode Island.

Massachusetts State Police offered condolences to his family and loved ones.

The crash is under investigation.
