Cops need help finding the man who robbed the same gas station four times
The Aurora Police Department is puzzled as a thief who robbed the same gas station four times is still at large. The suspect started robbing a location on Tower Road last summer and keeps returning.
Aurora Agent, Matthew Longshore, shared that it’s unheard of for someone to keep robbing the same place over and over. Police officers have been asking the public for help identifying the man, but after eight months they still need answers.
In surveillance videos, the man carries a black or grey duffle bag a black drawstring bag, and a black crossbody bag. The man looks to be a white male in his early 20s. He is around 6’1” and has a slim build. Also, he wears glasses sometimes.
According to KDVR, he typically shows the gas station clerk that he has a gun or knife. Then he jumps over the counter and steals vapes, tobacco products, and alcohol. Then he gets in an older car with yellow-tinted headlights and leaves.
It’s wild that other drivers and customers haven’t been able to provide helpful clues. His armed robberies at the gas station located at 3385 S. Tower Road occurred on July 21, August, 18, October 21, and December 12, 2024.
But over the weekend he robbed a different convenience store, located at 18883 E, Hampden Avenue. If you know anything about these incidents call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. You can remain anonymous and may receive a $2,000 reward.
