Meet Button; this sweet dog is currently at the Fort Worth Animal Care & Control. His story has been overlooked, and to say the least so very heartbreaking.

a rescuer’s worst nightmare is to find a dog was given away and living the most horrific life.
Sadly Button had been given away and ended up at the shelter with numerous bite wounds. And the story isn’t to garner comments about dogfighting, since everyone knows what a heinous crime of animal cruelty it is, but more to bring awareness and compassion for the millions of dogs left at shelters.
When the rescuer met Button, the short and stout little dog stared at him … “he was as cute as button”. Button is a lover. He has no bite history, has no indications of being aggressive and was fortunate enough to have had people who cared about him. Now he looks great, but he still waits for someone to welcome him to a loving home.
So here he sits in an overcrowded shelter, and any day could be his last.
Please share Button’s story. He deserves better. Sharing saves lives.
