Ram trucks and Glen Powell have a growing relationship. His Super Bowl commercial wasn’t his first time behind the wheel.
One of the Super Bowl commercials that stood out to me was the Ram trucks ad with Glen Powell. As he ran around like Goldilocks, I realized this wasn’t his first adventure with Ram. He’s used these trucks in other movies and ads before.
Glen Powell has a growing relationship with Ram trucks
I must admit, even if I’m not as swooned by Glen Powell as much as the rest of the nation, his Goldilocks commercial was entertaining.
He drove three Ram trucks, looking for the perfect fit. He fights a dragon and tows it with the heavy-duty Ram 2500 Rebel, then jumps out of a volcano with the Ram 1500 RHO.
At the end of the commercial, he screams in his blonde wig while driving a Ram 1500 REV around bears. This is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid truck, so it deserves the attention.
But Glen’s relationship with Ram didn’t start overnight. The Texas-raised actor launched the ad campaign for the 2025 model that was completely redesigned to launch the next generation of trucks.
If you’ve heard the, “Our calling was to build trucks,” line in a Ram commercial then you’ve heard Glen’s voice. He was in two 30 second commercials as the new generation of trucks launched.
Plus, Glen Powell used Ram trucks to chase tornados in the Twister reboot. The main truck is the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO with a bright shade of red paint.
It actually pays homage to the original film. In the 1996 movie, Bill Paxton drives a bright red 1995 Dodge Ram 2500.
Buckle up because their partnership is just getting started. I expect to see more of Glen Powell driving various Ram models as we wait for the electric model to launch.
