It had been the coldest day of the year in the Dallas area as temperatures plunged to nearly 20 degrees when one Texas farm owner, named Emily looked out into her field. It had been Emily’s own dogs who had spotted the animals first, and what she initially thought had been a family of skunks or birds running towards her, would soon gift her with a huge surprise!
Who knew until they got closer, that an unknown heartless person, had abandoned an entire litter of the most adorable German shepherd mixed breed puppies. Thank goodness Emily had found the puppies in time; how would they have even survived the cold, much less with no food or care?

The video garnered nearly 8 million views with thousands of comments asking what would become of the puppies?
The kind-hearted woman took all of the puppies into her temporary care. Overwhelmed with all the puppies and the care they would need, Emily called animal control. She kept them safe until officers arrived.
So how cute are they? The puppies were turned into the no-kill Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. Emily checked on them everyday to make sure they were fine.
There were four boys and one girl: Dish (female) Hawkeye, Radar and Forrest. The fifth puppy was adopted by Emily’s extended family. All of the puppies have since been adopted.
Emily did exactly what needed to be done. She found the puppies, fed and made sure they were warm. Five puppies can be an enormous undertaking, and Emily made sure the shelter was no-kill and had an excellent reputation for their care and adoption procedures. She checked everyday on the welfare of the puppies, and when they were adopted smiled for each new family and wishing the little ones the best lives ever.
