American Airlines passenger learned in the most inconvenient way that he was banned from flying

One of the worst fears of commercial plane passengers came true when he was added to the no-fly list for no reason.

He still has no clue why the ban happened.

Millions of plane passengers each year make their way through nationwide airports. In most cases, these people’s travel plans work out the way they were supposed to. However, one man recently tried to board an American Airlines airplane and learned that he had made the infamous no-fly list. This was a surprise as he knew he hadn’t exhibited behaviors worthy of such an inconvenience.

Plane passengers never want to end up on the no-fly list, but this one did

Commercial plane passengers have much to think about when flying. This is one of the many reasons most never consider that the airline could add them to a no-fly list. According to NBC DFW 5, this recently happened to a man named Keith White. He was traveling from Philadelphia to Dallas and had checked in online the night before. However, once at the airport, the ticked scanned red, and the airport employee had to call over someone else from the staff.

As most plane passengers would, the man assumed there was some sort of system glitch. According to the passenger, “Then he called the supervisor over, and she relayed that I have a travel block against me and that I could not board that flight. If I needed to get home, it had to be on a different carrier. And she said,  ‘Somebody will call you.’”

Readers should also know that Keith is a part of American Airlines’s AAdvantage frequent flying program. Still, he somehow made his way on the airline’s no-fly list. This happened on a Sunday, and he booked another flight with a different airline for the time being. Ultimately, the airline contacted him the following day to inform him that they had removed him from the list. Still, he has no clue why he made the list. He said, “I did ask for documentation of what happened, and their response was, it’s a legal document, and it would need to be subpoenaed.”
