Hello CANIACS!! My name is Wesley Frankel. I am thrilled to begin my journey on the coverage of the Carolina Hurricanes here at SportsCarolina Monthly! As someone who loves hockey, I can’t wait to dive into everything about this team and its incredible fan base!!
For the last couple of years, I began covering the Carolina Hurricanes as a hobby in my free time. As time went on, I realized how enjoyable it has been to cover the Canes! After countless attempts, I finally built an audience and community through Instagram and Discord. While I may be new to covering the Hurricanes directly, I’ve been following the team’s journey very closely through the years. Especially during the thrilling Stanley cup playoffs!!
When it comes to TheStormReport_, my goal is to bring the most comprehensive Carolina Hurricanes coverage that I possibly can, whether it’s an in depth analysis of players or insights into the teams culture. I also would hope to highlight the amazing voices from are fans that attend Lenovo Center as well as fans all around the world!! Since we are the loudest house in the NHL, my goal of being the voice of the fan is very important to me.
