It might be a joke, but its unmistakably Cybertruck right down to its horizontal light bar.
Some people will go to astronomical lengths to get their hands on Tesla’s most controversial EV, the massive Cybertruck. However, not everyone can afford (or even import) Tesla’s in-your-face electric pickup truck. Consequently, we get custom builds to emulate the Cybertruck’s characteristically angular look. That said, not every tribute build is lovingly executed.
What’s more attention-grabbing than a Tesla Cybertruck? A fake one made of logs and a urinating robot
A custom vehicle builder decided to create their take on a Tesla Cybertruck. However, you won’t find the EV pickup truck’s flat stainless steel paneling on this build. Instead, the builder used horizontal logs and a few upright pieces to create a wooden Tesla lookalike.
Surprisingly, the wooden look wasn’t the strangest thing about the faux Tesla. On the back of the vehicle, a robot statue faces the sidewalk off to the right. It’s a gray, old-school-appearing robot with the words “Tesla Garage” on its chest and a Tesla “T” on its face.
Moreover, the builder made the robot look like it was urinating. As the vehicle drives, the robot pumps out a stream of water with just enough energy to reach the sidewalk nearest the truck. Unfortunately, the stream would certainly reach any pedestrians on the sidewalk.
As expected, viewers judged the wooden truck harshly. “Cool [that] this one puts out fires. The other one’s starting them,” one commenter said on the video. Another viewer responded, “Peelon Musk,” joking at the Tesla CEO’s expense.
Still, the builder clearly wanted to channel the Cybertruck’s angular aesthetic. Despite the texture of the wood materials, the builder recreated the Tesla truck’s shape. He even included a horizontal light bar like the production model.
What’s worse? Its soundtrack suggests that it’s a gas-powered vehicle. There is no electric vehicle architecture here.
