No, you won’t get a Hot-N-Ready pizza faster by crashing your car into a Little Caesars.
A little over a month after a Subaru smashed through the doors at a car dealership, a video captured a Kia sedan crashing into a building. However, this instance pitted the little Korean car against a Little Caesars and a lobby full of customers. Unfortunately, the impact sends debris flying through the air and into a young bystander.
A Kia sedan turned a Little Caesars pizza restaurant into a drive-through after smashing through the storefront
Nothing can quite prepare a person for a car to come smashing over a sidewalk and into a storefront. But customers at a Little Caesars pizza restaurant had to contend with just that. A shocking video shows a black Kia sedan plowing through the glass and steel of the popular pizza place, sending debris into the lobby.
At the moment of the impact, a young teenager was focused on their phone. The hit sent portions of the Little Caesars storefront into the customers, taking the teenager off their feet. Fortunately, the teen and the rest of the bystanders were back on their feet a moment later.
It’s unclear why the driver crashed the dark sedan into the building. Troublingly, viewers piled blame on the teenager for not paying attention to their surroundings. “Because she’s always on that damn phone,” one viewer commented. Another viewer replied, “Notice the only one hit was on her phone.”
Asinine commentary aside, a Little Caesars is hardly a sufficient parking spot for a Kia sedan. Or any other kind of motorized vehicle for that matter.
The wild event follows a presumably more deliberate case wherein a Subaru buyer drove his car through a dealership. However, in that instance, the driver plowed through the glass doors after the dealership refused to refund him for an alleged “lemon.” Also, the tantrum-throwing man-child managed to avoid hitting any staff or patrons. The same can’t be said of the pizza place-killing Kia.
