What a sweetheart. Meet Bowie. Can you imagine this dog had been beside himself, running on the streets all alone? The police found him on Tuesday and held him until Stray Rescue of St. Louis arrived to pick him up.. All he wanted was to be held and told everything would be okay. He was named Bowie, and everyone fell in love him instantly.

The comments on Bowie’s rescue story continues to carry an important message about fostering pets, helping to save lives.

This picture speaks volumes!!! Bowie is grinning from ear to ear!!!

Starts my day with a smile for sure! So happy for Bowie! Thanks to all that donated yesterday and to the companies that donated the matching funds.
You are so important to us Stray Rescue for all you do!
Bless you, your staff, volunteers and fosters!
On Thursday morning, Bowie went to his foster home. Need we say anything more?
And a great morning it was. See how happy Bowie was to go to foster? That’s exactly how everyone at Stray Rescue of St. Louis feels. It may have been a rainy day, but the sun continues to shine bright on this amazing shelter.
