Man throws rocks at cars and gets hit by truck
The San Antonio Police Department shared that a man was throwing rocks at cars around 11:40 PM at night. The incident occurred in the 6900 black of San Pedro. The man was standing in the grassy area on the side of the road, tossing rocks as cars drove by.
According to KENS 5, the man hit a truck and faced instant karma. The driver of the truck allegedly ran the man over. Now the three men inside of the Ford F-150 have been detained.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. It’s unclear if his condition has improved. Meanwhile, the driver could be facing assault charges. Police officers are currently investigating the incident, and the driver might not be charged.

The driver cooperated with police officers and didn’t try to run from the scene. Brief surveillance footage shows police SUVs surrounding the back of the truck. However, I wish you could see the front of the Ford F-150. I would like to know if the truck was damaged.
In most jurisdictions, it’s illegal to throw rocks at cars. It can result in charges like vandalism, reckless endangerment, assault with a deadly weapon, or attempted murder if someone is injured.
However, it doesn’t sound like any drivers hit by the man’s rocks were injured. Even if no one is injured, throwing rocks at cars can lead to massive fines, community service, and jail time. The victim in the hospital could actually be a suspect based on what investigators find.
