At BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas, Grayson waits in his kennel to be led down the long lonely hallway to meet his untimely death. His tiny, fragile legs bend inwards, likely caused by his previous owner keeping him in a small cage with little opportunity to get outdoors to exercise in addition to vitamin deficiencies.
The four-month-old puppy has a name – Grayson. He’s a sweet Staffordshire mix of cute and friendly, but his disability presents difficulties with both walking and standing.

According to volunteer:
Grayson has two inward front legs below his carpus. The vet staff believe this is due to a vitamin deficiency and that his front legs will eventually straighten out. X-rays are available.
The puppy was too young to take outside. Volunteer met him at his kennel and took video below. Vet tech was able to extend both of the puppy’s front legs to a straight line. The left leg met rigidity prior to full extension. He will need medical intervention to allow the puppy to walk naturally on fully extended front legs.

Grayson has been noted to be very sweet and has shown no behavior issues. He arrived with a twin (A1991104) who has mild vitamin deficiency.
Please share his plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
