Georgia Dad confronts truck thieves and has a heart attack
It was a normal morning for a Georgia family until truck thieves arrived. 48-year-old Javon Brown was getting up for work when his alarm went off at the usual 4:30 a.m.
He and his wife, Tasha Brown heard some commotion and spotted two men trying to steal his pickup truck. Javon grabbed his gun and ran outside yelling at the men to get off of his property.
The thieves fired random shots. About nine shots were fired before the thieves turned and ran away. Javon wasn’t hit and went inside. Tasha rushed to him after getting her children to safety.
That’s when he collapsed. He could speak until he went into cardiac arrest due to the traumatic shock. Tasha performed CPR and tried to resuscitate him until the emergency responders arrived. Javon died in his wife’s arms.
Police officers shared that when the EMTs arrived, they pronounced the Dad dead, just inside the doorway to his home.

Unfortunately, Atlanta police officers searched the area for suspects but didn’t find the men. According to Fox 5 Atlanta, the incident occurred on King Georgia Lane in the Ben Hill Community of southwest Atlanta.
Homicide investigators are working on the case with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office. Police officers shared that they’re committed to tracking the suspects down.
Tasha shared that you work so hard, you do the right thing. You take care of your home and your family. Then someone just feels entitled to come and try to take those things from you.
