At the Valley Animal Center in Fresno, California, an adorable three-year-old Chihuahua mix named Jodi has had it very tough. Just recently he was returned to the shelter for the FIFTH time. Excuses included he was too active, he didn’t do well with the children, his owners moved, no time for a dog, and then his owners moved again.
Jodi (5368) loves to play and run, and he just wants a family to love. He does have cherry eyes which can easily be corrected with surgery, but that’s not stopping him from wanting to find a home; please – a real home this time; one that will not return him to the shelter ever again.

Doesn’t this little guy just have the most pleading eyes? Yet, through all this trauma, Jody has not given up. He still wags his tail in anticipation of meeting someone who will fall in love with him. So, how about a home where his family likes to go for walks or play in the park? He certainly has a lot of energy. Maybe having a safe backyard where he can run around and enjoy the weather?
