In Compton, California, a construction worker spotted a small dog hanging onto the ledge of a fifth-floor parking structure. The dog was visibly shaking in fear, and had he made one wrong move, he would have plummeted down five stories.

Concerned residents in the area didn’t have permission to enter the structure and were unable to find anyone to authorize their entry to save the dog. They had recently noticed the stray dog, and since he wouldn’t approach anyone despite multiple attempts to rescue him, they had been leaving food and water.

No one knows why the dog ventured up to the fifth floor, but it is suspected a predatory animal had chased him, and this little dog just ran for his life.
In a panicked attempt to find someone to help, animal advocates contacted Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy 29.
Suzette contacted her friends Becky and her husband who was able to get authorization to enter the structure. He carefully reached over the edge; the dog was visibly shaking in fear, but soon was gently brought to safety.

But this sweet boy who was hanging on for his life is safe because someone noticed him and heroes came to his rescue.
