Just because a truck is popular doesn’t mean it’s the best. While the Ford F-150 continues to be the best-selling pickup truck, it’s not the most satisfying option to own. Drivers are happier with a few different rivals.
What is the most satisfying pickup truck to own?
Drum roll, please! The most satisfying pickup truck to own is the tiny but mighty Ford Maverick. It’s smaller than its older brothers, the Ford Ranger and Ford F-150.
However, it can still do truck things with the ability to tow up to 4,000 lbs. Plus, the standard hybrid engine provides up to 42 mpg in the city and up to 33 mpg on the highway.
According to Yahoo, the second most satisfying truck is the Honda Ridgeline. Some drivers claim that it’s not a real truck due to having a unibody frame.
However, it can tow up to 5,000 lbs. Also, it has a large back seat, smooth ride, quiet interior, and is often referred to as the most comfortable truck available.
Up next, we have the gigantic Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD. It can tow up to 36,000 lbs, which is more than the average driver needs. This beast made the list because of its interior appointments. This work truck is capable and comfortable.

The GMC Sierra 3500 HD also made the list. Basically, the Silverado and Sierra are mechanical twins, but the Sierra is on the luxury side of things.
The Rivian R1T completes the list. Are you surprised that an electric truck made it? Well, it makes drivers happy. The R1T is fast, athletic, comfortable, and has stout off-roading capabilities. It has an electric range of up to 410 miles.
While the Ford F-150 doesn’t have any major upgrades for 2025, it could still make the list next year.
