In Peruibe, Brazil, a horse had to be lifted to safety after he was stranded on the roof of a house because of severe flooding, and the owner wanted to protect him.
So how did the owner get the horse on the roof? She used a concrete ladder to guide the horse up to the roof before the storm.
On Saturday, the horse was safely rescued by a coordinated rescue with the Civil Defense team and firefighters using a crane to lift the horse and move him back to the ground.
There were no reported injuries either to the rescuers or the horse.
Strange but true.
