Two men with hammers rob Washington gas stations
Investigators with the police believe that early morning robberies could be connected. At both gas stations, masked suspects were seen welding hammers.
The first robbery happened at the Shell station in the 4500 block of Fauntleroy Way Southwest in west Seattle around 12:30 am.
Then the suspects are believed to have struck again about 30 minutes later at another Shell station, located in the 700 block of Taylor Avenue North in Lower Queen Anne. A third related robbery may have occurred in Bellevue.
According to King 5, the Seattle Police Department is currently investigating both incidents. They are being investigated as the same crew due to similarities. It’s believed that they’re following a pattern.
Surveillance footage caught them entering a gas station after exiting a dark SUV. Then they knocked over stands to block the doors and split up.

They stole $200 in cash, and $500 worth of goods, and smashed an ATM screen while attempting to open it. Then they jumped in the SUV and sped off at a high rate of speed.
The details of the second and third robberies haven’t been released. But each incident is very similar. Police officers shared that they’ve been arriving a few minutes after the suspects took off.
But it shouldn’t be long before the cops learn the identities of the suspects and arrest them to hold them accountable for their actions. They may strike again, but so far, no injuries have been reported.
