WPBN: While the victim’s daughter was at home and on the phone with 911, a guy from Florida is suspected of stabbing his girlfriend to death with a kitchen knife. Meanwhile, the victim’s daughter was present.
According to court documents, Makinson Devalcin, who is 45 years old, is being charged with the murder of Enese Pierre.
A death occurred to her on Sunday. All of the allegations are detailed in an affidavit.
A stabbing report was received at a town house in Davenport, and deputies arrived to the scene. According to court documents, the victim’s daughter stated that her stepfather was armed with a gun and that her mother, who was later identified as Pierre, had been stabbed and was bleeding.
The individual under suspicion was discovered by the deputies at the top of a staircase, laying on his back at the door to a bedroom. It was stated in the affidavit that he had a cut on his neck, that he was unconscious but still exhibiting signs of life, and that he was sent to the hospital.
When deputies arrived, they discovered Pierre lying on the bed in the bedroom. She had been stabbed in the neck, and she was covered in blood. The authorities reported that a bloody knife was lying on the ground.
A roommate said to the deputies that she heard screams and woke up. She rushed to the master bedroom and found the victim bleeding. However, when the roommate attempted to enter the room, the defendant shoved her away, and she walked back downstairs, according to the detectives.
The daughter of the victim stated that her mother arrived at home at approximately 1:40 a.m. and wished her a nice night. Subsequently, she stated that she had heard her mother crying, “Help!” As stated in the complaint, “He is attempting to take my life.”
She got out of bed and left her room, making her way toward the room that belonged to her mother. According to the documents filed in the court case, she was able to hear her mother pleading for assistance as she approached the master bedroom.
As she went closer to the room, she noticed that her mother was bleeding in addition to having injuries. The documentation stated that her mother instructed her to dial 911.

According to the affidavit, when she went back to her mother’s room, she reported that there was further blood on the bed around her mother, and that her mother appeared to have stopped speaking.
In accordance with the paper, she stated that her stepfather got out of bed, grabbed a knife, and spoke the words, “no one messes with me.”
In addition, the sheath for the knife that was discovered in the bedroom was located in a drawer in the kitchen, which led detectives to conclude that the knife should have been found in the kitchen.

The defendant was cut and wounded, but the affidavit does not specify when or how this occurred.
There was no provision for him to post bail.
