A former security guard and children’s tennis coach has been arrested on child exploitation charges following an extensive investigation by the Montgomery County Constable’s Office.
Taylor Roy, who coached children aged 8-17 in The Woodlands and Spring areas, was arrested on January 4, 2025, on charges of Indecency with a Child Exposes. This arrest followed earlier charges of Invasive Visual Recording filed against both Roy and his wife, Tasha Roy, in April 2024.
The investigation began with a CyberTip received by the Montgomery County Pct. 3 ICAC/Human Trafficking Detective. The tip led detectives to discover videos secretly recorded by Taylor Roy while working as a security guard at The Woodlands Mall. These videos depicted juvenile females in various public locations, including the mall, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and local parks.
The recordings primarily focused on the girls’ genital areas (while clothed) and also included footage of young girls undressing in a dressing room at the mall.
Detectives executed a search warrant at the Roy’s residence in Shenandoah, where they recovered several of the incriminating videos. Tasha Roy was also implicated in the creation and recording of these videos.
Following the initial arrests, further investigation uncovered evidence supporting the additional charge of Indecency with a Child Exposes against Taylor Roy.
Constable Ryan Gable’s office is urging anyone who believes they or their child may have been a victim of the Roys’ recordings to contact them at 281-364-4211.
