A robbery took place at the Pronto Mart, located at 4301 Duval Street in Austin, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The suspect threatened the store employee before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 6’1″ tall and weighing around 200 lbs. He has a dark-colored beard and mustache and was last seen wearing an “ACL Live” baseball cap, sunglasses, a black scarf, a blue flannel shirt, black pants, and black Doc Martin-style boots.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
