The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning until 7 a.m. Tuesday, with 4 to 8 inches of snowfall expected in areas like Campton, Jackson and Paintsville. Snow accumulations of up to 0.6 inches are also expected, raising concerns over dangerous travel and power outages. Major roadways, including KY-15 and US-460, may be nearly impassable during the morning and evening commute Monday.
