Monday will bring cooler temperatures, with highs dropping into the upper 30s by the afternoon. Breezy conditions will persist, with winds out of the west reaching 35 mph. The region will remain cloudy through Monday evening, with temperatures plummeting to the mid-20s overnight.
The extended forecast shows clearing skies starting Tuesday, but temperatures will remain cold. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will hover around 40 degrees, with lows dipping into the low 20s. Sunshine is expected to return midweek, offering some relief from the chilly, wet start to the week.
