A fatal stabbing on January 1, 2025, in the 10300 block of Hollyhock left a 17-year-old male dead and a 39-year-old woman injured.
El Paso police officers responded to the scene and discovered two victims suffering from multiple stab wounds. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The Crimes Against Persons unit determined that a male suspect attempted to force his way into the residence, leading to a violent altercation. One of the victims, identified as 17-year-old Angel Guadalupe Ramirez, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The 39-year-old woman remains hospitalized, but her condition has not been disclosed.
