Medford, OR – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday for areas above 3,500 feet in western Siskiyou County. Residents and travelers should prepare for additional snowfall and challenging road conditions.
According to the National Weather Service, the area could see 2 to 5 inches of snow accumulation this morning, with snow levels gradually rising to 4,500 feet. South-westerly winds can reach gusts of up to 35 mph, further complicating travel. This advisory specifically affects areas including Marble Mountain and Sawyers Bar Road near the Etna Summit.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution as roads are likely to be slippery. For updated road conditions, travelers can call 511 or visit quickmap.dot.ca.gov,
