SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Utah residents are bracing for a significant winter storm that is expected to drop up to 20 inches of snowfall in mountainous areas, with snowfall rates reaching 3 inches per hour at times, leading to multiple winter weather advisories. Is given.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the advisory covers areas including the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains, the Wasatch Back, the Central Mountains and the northern Wasatch Front.
