On January 1, 2025, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to reports of gunfire in the 5400 block of Spanish Oak Drive in the Greenwood Forest area of northwest Houston.
Upon arrival, deputies identified three suspects: Luis Monterrosa, 20, Osbaldo Moncada, 19, and Martin Moncada, 20. An investigation revealed that the men had fired rounds in celebratory gunfire to mark the New Year in a residential neighborhood.
All three were arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct. Monterrosa and Moncado received bonds of $15,000 each, while Moncada’s bond was set at $10,000. The charges were filed in the 482nd District Court.
