WPBN: The mustard-grilled burgers and spiritual fountain sodas that In-N-Out Burger is known for are going to be introduced to a large number of new places in the years to come. In 2025, a few of these restaurants are going to be verified throughout three states.
At the moment, the burger chain remains mostly focused on the Western part of the United States, with the majority of its outlets being located in the states of California, Arizona, and Nevada.
The chain does not choose to franchise its restaurants. However, there are also outposts in the states of Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Utah, in addition to hundreds of stores in the state of Texas, which is the most eastward extension of In-N-Out Burger’s expansion.
The “early philosophy” of In-N-Out Burger’s founders is said to be the source of the company’s comparatively modest growth (in comparison to other fast-food restaurants), as stated by the company.
“Because of a rigorous commitment to quality and freshness, the company only builds stores that are located within a close proximity of their four in-house patty-making facilities. This ensures it will never take more than a single-day’s drive for their own trucks to deliver fresh ingredients to each restaurant,” according to In-N-Out’s official website.
In spite of this, In-N-Out Burger is now making preparations to open additional restaurants in the states of additional Mexico, Washington, and Tennessee in the years to come. Additionally, the company intends to establish a central location for its East Coast operations just outside of Nashville.
According to the official website of In-N-Out Burger, the company presently only has five restaurants that are scheduled to open in the year 2025. Restaurants like that are going to arrive at:
City, State | Address |
Anaheim, California | |
Carson, California | |
Sylmar, California | |
Nampa, Idaho | |
South Salt Lake, Utah | 21 E. 2100 S. |
However, in the past, In-N-Out has stated that it will open restaurants in other states in the upcoming years, including one in southern Washington that would open “by 2025.”
Whether plans or timelines for this or other big openings have changed was not immediately confirmed by a corporate spokesman.

A new site on the Las Vegas Strip, which will be one of the company’s largest restaurants, and Tennessee’s first In-N-Out restaurants are scheduled to open in 2026. Owner Lynsi Snyder stated that the first In-N-Out will open in New Mexico “by 2027.”
Even though In-N-Out may take its time opening new sites, patrons can typically be sure that its current locations won’t be closing anytime soon. According to Chief Operating Officer Denny Warnick, the company has only closed one restaurant since its foundation in 1948, and that was in Oakland, California, which closed in 2024 because of “ongoing issues with crime.”

According to the corporation at the time, severance compensation or the chance to transfer to other restaurants were offered to the staff at the location.
“Additionally, this location remains a busy and profitable one for the company, but our top priority must be the safety and wellbeing of our Customers and Associates — we cannot ask them to visit or work in an unsafe environment,” Warnick stated.
