BURLINGTON, VT – A winter storm warning remains in effect for Orleans and Lamoille County, with heavy snow and high winds expected to continue through 7 a.m. Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, 7 to 17 inches of snow is expected to accumulate, with an additional 4 to 10 inches expected before the storm subsides. Winds gusting up to 50 mph could create a risk of power outages due to falling branches and snow-laden tree branches. Hazardous travel conditions may disrupt travel Thursday evening.
